Drying up raindrops on window panes, Accumulations of wet puddles in spring. Yielding ample ripe fruits of hope on Saturnine days; adding a touch of warmth To frigid-cold winter, to the autumn breeze, And ushering in halcyon days of summer. Radiant sun, shining bright through the seasons

What a lovely tribute to the daystar. It dries up raindrops, puddles, adds warmth to cold days, ripens fruits et al. Imagine a day with the daystar completely veiled. Such a day will be so dull. Congratulations on your well deserved win.

So well written, Edward! I love the way you take the "daystar" "through the seasons." Your lines are so lyrical. They flow from one season to the next almost unnoticed just like the seasons do! Best wishes for the contest! Blessings for every season to you!
