7/24/2024 for This Acrostic or That Acrostic Poetry Contest

Daystar, you warm and comfort me, And cheer me up - fill my heart with glee. You're my hero up so high, Shining light so we all can see, The source of all earth's energy, Always there, so dependably, Really good for a circle in the sky.

Easy read is right and a bit of humor. I like the simplicity and truth intertwined. Congrats on your win.

Hello David, I enjoyed your Acrostic, a sort of ode to the sun. Growing up, we used to sing songs in Sunday school about God, our Daystar!! Good luck in the contest. - Blessings, My Friend, Daniel

Glad you enjoyed it Daniel. Believe it or not, I was not even familiar with the term "daystar" and had to google it. It makes sense, though, the star that you can see during the day.
