The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Days of Wine and Roses

A marvel it is these days of wine and roses
Of the blooming of the cherry trees
Summer spent in the quite country side
With delicious cheese and sparkling wine.

If only I could have them forever
A place to step into anytime I wish
Picture in a frame to a place of pleasure
Unchanged through all the ages.

Beautiful words and imagery. If you find a way to escape let me know how you did it.

yes, that is indeed a dream, to have them forever. Ahhhh (so unlike the poor wilted rose). (I think you mean quiet in line three)
