Days In the Thunder Where Everything Was Raw

You may one day remember the time you chose to forget

You may remember we fought side by side my friend

You may never remember the battle cry of war

Those days in the thunder where everything was raw

I hope that you remember how brave you were before

They took your mind away in the cold theatre of war

Goodbye my friend forever, for I can't live anymore

They took a lot from us!

Nothing's left for us no more.

Goodbye my old friend,

Goodbye, my comrade in war.

Hi Kelli, thanks very much. This was written as a mark of respect to soldiers who give everything and lose everything. Cheers.
