Days End
From dry dust and wetlands
From eagle's breath and weatherbands.
The joy of all I touch ,see, and hear.
The thrill of all I know to fear.
The days are precursors to the night so dear.
The blue light and gentle breeze
that spreads dew across the leaves.
The very thought of sunrise brings,
to mind the romance in your heart.
To rekindle a love grown too far apart.
The chirping and humming of nature's
work coupled with flora and fauna.
The tingling life like bubbles in a sauna.
All these things caress me so
they lull my mind and cause it to wonder.
Life is too short to take in all this splender.
So I pray for days end to never end.
