Day's Dawning
We get up each morning blessed by the exquisite sunrise,
Meeting friendly neighbors each beautiful day.
A delicious brunch is had with nice friends,
Fulfilling and very satisfying and delectable.
I used to go for a scenic walk by the conservation area,
A magic kingdom come to life, the wildflowers and ducks on the pond.
Activities at the senior's residence like art classes and rhythm and moves,
The conversation with my favorite handsome prince each day,
A day at the exclusive salon where I get my hair styled and as a senior feel forever young.
I progress to a good lunch and a beverage, sometimes I see a friend,
This is an exciting place to live, they have performers and boutiques,
The evening hours come and we have an excellent dinner with neighbors.
The day's complete and I am very thankful,
God's blessings continue and i am very happy.
