Daymare
Put me to sleep as I'm awake
The world is upside down for Heaven sake
There is chaos in the streets
As loved ones, prepare for zoom meets
Kids in the other room on games
Using emojis and alternate names
Shootings on a daily bases
Walking around without any faces
Sleeping in designer sheets
Trying to overcome the daily feats
Screaming till we can't hear
Putting in nothing but fear
Wake me as if I don't care
I'm still living in this daymare
