I keep clicking on poems of yours and can't seem to find a new one to comment on, but seeing this one again, I have to tell you it is such a great little poem.Especially in light of how things are these days. very nicely concisely done, Charlie. I too opted for a "short way" on this theme!! I just don't have the huge imagery in my head that some of the entries I've been seeing have portrayed. Your imagery is really good in this short poem.
