Daydreams and Luxuries

a bucket of water
a basket of apples
a dream of apple pie
daydreaming as i drink from the water hose

skipping carelessly in the rain
listening to the expressive taps of the many shoes
a thought of waterslides in 1980
daydreaming as i suck the yellow off of some lemon heads

staring at the hole in the seat
wishing i could just squeeze the part of her butt that is protruding from there
a thought of the both of us falling and saying OUCH! with a smile as we feebly attempt to roller skate
daydreaming as songs from the Blockbuster 20 8 track start overtaking my brain with joy
