Daydream
In a perfect place
you and I are one
living life as it should be
no pain, no guilt, no strife.
In a perfect place
you and I are free
sharing worlds as it should be
no secrets, no lies, no regrets.
In the perfect place
you and I have built
more than anyone can imagine
no walls, no barricades, no limits.
Rest assured
we have found each other
lost along the way
with nothing left but broken hearts
that we can mend together.
When everything is said and done
our hearts will beat as one.
That is when
we shall see
the perfect place
for you and me.
