Daybreak
The morning star fades from the depths of night;
Shadowed hills, cloaked with bony leafless trees,
The horizon breaks into tinted light,
Clouds forming aloft, drifting on the breeze,
In the east the sun prepares to ignite,
Without exception, a diurnal flight.
