The dew lingers upon the grass
Fog boils around the trees
Cool dampness permeates the morn's air
A buzzing tune comes from bees

The spider has repaired his web 
It hangs suspended secure
One touch can mean food, despair, or
Much more work to endure

The foggy moist flows through and on 
A web built like a net
Did man observe the design?
Learn his foods needs could be met  

The sun rises higher into the blue
Slowly erases the dew
Rids the trees of foggy damp
The day stretches forth anew

I love a good fog in the morning, as long as I don't have to drive anywhere. A couple more months and that dew will become frosts:) Love the images in this poem Mrs Sara:)

Daniel, The fog is beautiful but can be very dangerous on the road while driving..I am looking forward to a change in the air toward fall and it is really nice out this morning but they say it won't last..The air is dryer, there is a nice breeze and much cooler feeling..Thanks for dropping by..Sara
