Day For All

There is a day for birth, a day for death,
A day for childhood, a day for age.
A day for marriage, a day for parting,
A day for failure, a day for success.
A day for refusal, a day for embrace—
Nothing is ever truly new.

A day for truth, a day for lies;
A day for setback, a day for rise.
A day for war, a day for peace,
A day to sow, a day to reap.
All of it flows within our lives.

A day for honor, a day for shame;
A day for order, a day for chaos.
A day for sorrow, a day for joy,
A day for healing, a day for pain,
A day for fullness, a day for hunger—
All are woven into our being.
