Day After Day
Day after day, impossibilities do imprison the world
For many times, what I notice is the world falling apart
Haunted by the pain people ferry around,
Friends trying to grab trending practices to pass the test
But, again and again, what keeps me blooming,
Is what I acknowledge, … Heaven is watching
Sometimes, what bother me is the regrets….
Pulling the world backwards,
Sadness afflicting souls around the globe,
Making me ask, what went wrong?
As I look similar to a lost son, among missing people,
Trapped in the planet farthest away from paradise
Day and night, what I crave for, is to create a loving world,
For the world to move beyond suffering-
With hope hanging upon us all,
Everyone breathing joyously with dreams to follow…
Feeling the passion, nature has in its heart,
In taking care of all species within its ranks
Day after day, I wish I had all the answers
The key to unlock goodwill,
Plant it in the lives of ordinary people,
For sometimes, I only perceive unfairness rolling within the storm,
But I have seen love knocking on peoples’ homes….
With joy and happiness calling everyone by name
Day after day, I look beyond the river with cheering face,
Seeing faith flourishing through the universe,
And prayer penetrating deeper into people’s lives
Hoping to transform shapes of the world….
Decorate the settings with bright flowers-
In a world free from tormenting memories,
For many times, I have seen kindness in the neighbourhood
Humanity going back to its roots,
To resuscitate and hold on to its precious thoughts….
To rebuild and safeguard its legacy …
… Day after day
