Dawn's Answer
As night closes
upon us
a chill strikes us
in our very bones
There is nothing to prevent
the dread growing
all around our mortal frames
Shadows have chased
away light
fear is what we now know
If you wish to flee
from this harsh reality
I send you out hope
Your eyes will see
things
You never wished to see
and the light we once knew
is now a distant memory
Let your eyes take delight
in what they can see
Before you fall into a deep dream
Let you sorrows leave you
Do your best to defeat the ghostly
minions of despair
