Dawn of Dreams

Life is etched but on the wind
memories veiled on times descent
seeking shelter diamond rain
born yet to wilderness pain-

Distraught amongst the thorn less rose
sinful, righteous of this she knows
given to creed of distant dreams
realities death is not what it seems-

Angel tears beguile the moon
destiny's dawn arises soon
rain kissed sea's and shipwrecked smiles
your golden soul made life worthwhile-

Forgive the sin and seek the heart
give to ancients their shadowed part
amidst the will of silver light
give to day eternal night-

Angel, this is a very beautiful poem. The rhyme is excellent. It seems like couplets were flowing our of your heart. I enjoyed reading your poem this morning. Keep writing! Lovingly, Dane Ann
