Dawn

I was up my bed
A pillow holding my head
I sat bolt upright
And saw something bright

It was only the sunbeams
Coming through the windows in streams
Cool breeze swept by
Feeling fresh I said, 'Oh my!'

Poppies and daffodils danced
I tossed my head and glanced
To see the beauty of the day
Full of flowers which were gay

It was a quiet moment
Filled with nature's own amusement
But it didn't last long
For the noises came along

Sweet poem... I'm not an early riser so I generally don't know the beauty of early morning..lol.. hopefully waking up to school can give me some experience! ;)
