Dave, Gone

Dave, Gone


Leaving me his clone
Dave has gone alone
He had Love, he had trust
All now sealed in dust.
A gentleman was he
A Gent he’ll ever be.

I miss his bold grin
Of Love to kith an’ kin 
He’d curse a barren Tree 
Frank talk had he.
Great man was he
Great he’ll always be.

I miss Brother Dave
Daily I visit his Grave- 
A mound on the flat part
Is swelled by his Heart!
Great man was he
Great he’ll always be!
