Dashed Dreams

Gone Is some Hope that’s far Where our dreams are They have been dashed, hurt Wanting not to be burnt So warm within great lighting I fancy the top-most living Reasonable height of love within Part of me divides when I don’t give in

Kind of a sad one Rusty, feel some pain but hope it is just a poem and not personal. Love the last line, very strong!

Yes, sometimes dreams disappear..Sometimes it is slowly over time and then again some are instantly gone or so it seems..Don't quit dreaming though for God opens windows when doors are closed..Enjoyed reading your creative work..May your poetic gift expand and overflow onto the pages of soup..Thanks for stopping by...By the way, I 'll never be a ballerina.Sara
