Das Macht Nichts

Look in a mirror
notice your face
Is it you ?
or has someone
taken Your place
What do you see
explore each line,
Somewhere near
among the features
you will find
that your face
is just a mirror
That reflects
your thoughts
and wishes
Meditate and
self-reflect
And you can do this
while doing dishes

Do you want to hear it again ?

Well I was always suspecting the mirror. Doubting it didn't reflect real beauty. Now I know it's someone else.:) A clever write. I loved this. #7

Jerry, I'll remember your words here my good friend, each time I do my dishes. I like your title here from the German, of course, "It Doesn't Matter." Well put and well done indeed. This one's a quite clever write. A "7" / FAV!! (BTW, I'm now just returning to the Soup. I've been gone since 15 Feb as I was finishing up my first poetry book. It's done now and was released on 9 April. I just placed a Classified Ad on it with "PS." It's available now at Amazon.com.) Best Always, Gary

Odd thing about that mirror, My face I've never seen clearer. Yet despite what I see, It just isn't me. And thinking has just made it queerer.
