Darkness of Night
In the darkness of night
Wondering if I will see light
For I have seen it all,
both solemn people and bright
But never have I ever seen the light
Wondering if I ever will, I stay very still
waiting for the perfect sight.
Maybe if I open my eyes I will see the feeling I adore
No that is impossible for I have never felt it before
Like the early glowing sun in the west
Like the glowing fire on Christmas Eve
No more can I see the light
I will never get the feeling I adore
For that I fall miserably to the floor
In the darkness of night
