Darkness of Depression

Darkness Of Depression
By R.e. Taylor

How could darkness be so dark
Surrounding the heart
While strangling the soul
He can no longer smile
No longer see pleasure in anything
Still, he fights the urges he feels
He believes that there is one atom of light
There is no way for him to find it
For him it is far too small to see
He has looked to no avail
So, he looks around his universe
For just a glimmer of the light
That he hopes he will find
Before he is gone forever

RE.. Tonight, the mountain sky is clear. In a few hours the stars will tease me with their winks. The twilight is for your poem, and it's as enjoyable as the coming sunset!
