Darkness

A hole
An evil
A dark little dream.

A tear drop.
A sob,
A knife with a gleam.

All pain
All sorrow,
All left with a blow.

Of the evil
And the darkness
That we all know.

I see
It now,
In the darkness brow

While we sit,
And listen,
And wait for the horror

And cower
Under the haze
Of darkness's glower.

And pray he doesn't take us too.
