Darkness

Oh Darkness,
How you long to be whole.
Darkness fights the light,
Darkness black as coal.

Only with the light,
Can you be known.
Yet you seek to block knowledge,
The seeds of ignorance you have sewn.

Oh Darkness,
Hiding the truth, you oppose the few
You are the Darkness,
The Darkness is in you.

I like the flow of words in the poem. The juxtapositioning between darkness and light is very inspiring. Welcome to Poetry Soup and keep writing. Blessings, Joseph

only with the light can you be known, but darkness blocks this knowledge, like that line, hmm idk maybe check the forms of poetry and put the one that matches best :)
