Darkness

I
							   Wonder
	                        Do Blind People
                     Dream in color And how
Do they react to the sight that
	     Surrounds them when they awaken

THE SIGHT OF DARKENSS

I quest blind people do have a concept of darkness. However, they associate deeper meaning to the basic colors green|red|orange|yellow|blue|indigo & violet In writing poetry, blind people can see the following colors: perch-red yellow, pistachio green, binary blue, banana yellow, mango orange, candy apple red, mustard yellow, and Polynesian violet. Yes, blind people can color their dreams too. Darkness poem, well done!

Interesting to ponder here, Kareena!! Don't forget to put the Form (in this case it would be Shape) and not leave it "I do not know" ... They usually don't include writings in contests that only have "I do not know" in the Form slot ... smile ... Usually I put "Free Verse" when I'm not really sure ...

Hi Kareena, check out forms of poetry and pick a form, I would start with Haiku. It has a syllable pattern of 5-7-5. Look under contests and you will see a picture of a tree and clouds. Use that for inspiration if you wish. This will teach you how to say a lot with very little word use, it will hone your rhyme and meter skills, and give you structure, not that you don't already have this, you do, it's just a tool for writing and improvement.-AA

Nice spacing to emulate a pause on "I wonder". I guess the blind can dream in color and would know, unless they were born blind. They probably hear in color while we hear in black and white.
