Darkened Tears
Help stop my deserted tears from descending down my somber face,
I’ve learn't to swallow my pain in the company of strangers at my own pace.
If we were born with wings Id fly away from the hurt that fills my eyes,
Id fly to a distance and block out my silent cries.
Inside of me lies a child in the form of a woman’s thoughts,
A secret so deeply imbedded its accustomed to me and refuses to aborts.
Who's to say if you don't kiss away the pain from my eyes it will disappear,
If I could I would squander my existence in order never to feel the fear.
