Dark storm

Dark Storm

A tempest rages, mirrors my soul
Turbulent winds, like my heart's control, torn between grief and regret's heavy toll
Lost in the haze, of a love that's gone, memories of laughter now reduced to ashes, cold
First love's flame, extinguished by mistakes, now dawn breaks on a life without her gold

Memories haunt, like shadows in the night, whispers of what could've been, a bittersweet, haunting delight
Regrets cut deep, like shattered glass in my heart, fragments of what we were, tearing me apart
Longing for her touch, a flame that tore us apart, like a wildfire fueled by pride and foolish words, unspoken, unheard

The storm outside, it mirrors my pain, a reflection of the chaos, I can't regain
Rain pounds against the window, like tears I've cried, echoes of her name, lost in the night, unreplied
In the dark, I'm searching for a way to turn back time, to undo the damage, and love her like I used to, in rhyme, with every breath, every beat, every line

But like the storm, my love is lost at sea, a fleeting moment, of foolish pride and stupidity
Now I'm left with nothing, but the echoes of what could've been, a love that's lost, a heart that's broken, and a storm that's endless within
