Dark Skinned Girls
I'm black but I could never be a dark skinned girl
My skin is light
This they associate with different stereotypes
I've never been dark
So I don't know how their perceived
But what I see is that they are latching on
to our sexy men and taking them
This isn't a war by any means
By tell me please have you lost interest in us
Light skinned girls?
I mean cause no matter where I go
My eyes can't help noticing
A dark skinned girl next to a fine man
Maybe we need to step our game up
Cause they are winning
I give them their props for that
They know what they want
Not afraid to flaunt
their assets or talents
To have him
I must admit
This light skinned girl is jealous
