Dark Scenario

It is growing dark now The air outside is cold It is near the end of a winter day Inside I'm warm I have shelter unlike the many homeless I see on the street and in subway tunnels It's a sad commentary on our society which lets people live on the street where they can get hypothermia due to weather conditions Our city should open its heats to the homeless There are some city residents with great wealth and some who have almost nothing A rather sad state of affairs don't you think? Maybe the situation will change one day But for now We are caught in the web Of a civilization without pity
