Dark Rainbow

While looking into the heart
of the Shadow
      A dark rainbow 
appears
       Dark colors mark 
the passageway 
where little light
      enters
A slim hope is all
     we have
   and that seems to be turning to dust
   But before we give in
Let's try to light a candle
   Some sons we once 
knew
   Will come back to us
If we don't sucumb 
    to despair
Even in the dim light
    We can see what 
we must
     The rays of hope
are always there
     Even in the darkest
of nights
     Pinpricks of light 
Guide us through
    the storm
Let's ask for light
   For all we know
Someone may be listening
