Dark Princess

My heart, 
unable to beat
until I hear the treading, 
the treading of your feet.

My Dark Princess, 
dark and stunning,
you set my heart free, 
down a path and running.

You cause me to smile. 
It has been a while, My Love.
Come with me and fly 
as though you were a dove.

Your smile is entrancing. 
You are my very best friend.
We'll be together forever, 
for which there is no end.

Although you are dark... 
what I say is right...
You, Dark Princess, 
have filled my dark soul with love and light.
