Dark Place Draft

I pace, with no place to go
My mind it races, but my body moves slow

Back and forth I go
Alone.

It's one o'clock at night
But I haven't slept. That can't be right

I guess I'm running from my dreams
What does that mean to you?

Back and forth I go
Alone.

I pace with no place to go
Everything is shut in the town i know

I will though, wait for the light tonight

Oh to see that orange sun rise
Hitting my blood shot and weary eyes

Yes to see the sun...

I pace alone here at home
Waiting for the darkness to end

Sadley though. The darkness has only begun.

The darkness holds exquisite beauty, my friend ... it just takes new eyes, for the light is NOT light without it! Enjoyed this thoroughly - nicely done!
