Dark Comedy Makes Light of War

Talk to me of War And ask of me to comment ? I would do an injustice to put my thought's into words So I would rather refer you to Or point you in the direction or ask you to watch A black comedy called Blackadder Goes Forth The Final Episode Set in the Trenches of World War 1 And if you don't come away Bleary eyed with your heart and soul not touched Then nothing I could ever write or say Would make the slightest bit of difference anyway

What a moving poem and I like the way you put the onus on the reader to make up their own mind and not give yours except through the TV prog. Maybe put a link to the episode Chris:-) hugs Jan xx

I can barely type or spell Jan so putting a link is a bit beyond my level of proficiency. I love the way you add pictures, explanation and other bits and pieces onto your poems . It all ads to the reader's experience.

Cheers Jan . Have you ever seen it or watched it. Its so poignant and touching when they go over the top and it cuts to the poppy fields . I hope this isn't a spoiler alert . Cheers Jan ta
