Dark Clouds

The road through life has been hard and bumpy.
The sun has turned its back on me
and I’m feeling very grumpy.
And sadness has seeped into my soul
the stones I walked on now ,have turned to heaps of coal.
Placing It’s weight on my shoulders
I try to climb up where others go
but my mind smolders.
And I’m thrown back down the hill
keep your head up people “say “but sometimes I lose my will
But my back is broken down
So I will pray to get the strength to go through another day.
I am told these struggles will make you stronger
sometimes I can’t go on much longer.
No I don’t want to pity myself
God knows I need help.
I just wish life were a little easier on me
Sometimes it’s hard to see sunshine
through this emotional debris.
