Dark and Light
We are both light and dark...
Not of my words...
I have heard them...
My soul is filled with both...
A darkened view of life...
And a lightened reality...
I can easily draw on darkness...
And express it views...
Its terrible vision...
Its hopelessness...
I can see it...
Even absorbed it...
And express it...
It is dark...
Beyond words...
It is deep...
Churning in my soul...
So I must expel that darkness...
That darkness we all feel...
If that darkness is known...
It loses it power...
Among us...
So we must express ourselves...
To keep the dark power...
At bay...
And it is our light...
That is our power...
Power of words...
Power to come together...
Power of light...
To come together...
And unite as a soul.
