Dare

Dare

You do you dare to go out there?
Do you dare to show your face?
Would you really try to take someone else's place?
Do you think you're the only one who's living this nightmare?

You're not.
You're just one among a million
who gives it all they've got.
You're another one in one thousand
who lives their own plot.

Do you dare to show your face out there?
Do you dare to place your bet
in a single given outlet?
Do you dare to go for first place?
Would you embrace this love and grace?

Don't fall down.
You're going for the gold.
You're about to inherit your crown.
Ignore the opposition.
Assume your position.
Remember what you've been told.

Sometimes it's hard to dare to make it out there.
