Doves, mountain robins, starling, pond heron,
Dogs, donkeys, horses, deer, tigers splendid;
Creatures existing in alien terrain
Masterly molded; charmingly blended;
Dappled beauty is enchantment tended,
Gleaming, glowing, glazing and glistening,
Dappled spottiness has brief brightening;
Dappled persons are brave and courageous,
In look solemn, tough, rough and frightening
In actions swift, sharp, sincere, serious...

But when you put one word per line, it says "alien" is 2 syllables! I guess I pronounce it with a drawl: "a-li-en" and come up with 3. Weird. I'm interested seeing so many different forms tried here.
