Notes About The Poem
This tribute poem is dedicated to Daniel Henry Rodgers. ~

Daniel Henry Rodgers

Visiting his pages is a grand exploration,
I read such monumental poetry,
words and verse as if chiseled into
ageless everlasting granite.

A beauty of awe,
sparkling of the calling of creativity.
He pens with his soul in the flight
of a dove's freedom,
of humanity, nature, God.
Artistic brushstrokes of a painting
colorful in the literary.

Gifted beyond the stratosphere's arc,
as he brings seasons to life,
and I pause to feast again,
of the sustenance of loving
another poet's genius. ~

Ohh Dear Gina, I think you just brought several tears to my humbling eyes and I cannot express my gratitude and appreciation enough. When I started writing poetry almost 50 years ago, it was for my joy and sometimes the joy of family. Now, I have found an extended family here at PS, and I am honored to call you one of my dear sisters. May God Bless You Always and Thanks from the bottom of my Humble Heart. Autumn Blessings, Dearest Friend, Daniel
