Dan...I Miss You

Your son lays
Within a coupla feet of me

Sleeping blissfully
upon my couch

I see you in
everything he does

Your picture is on my desktop
so I can talk to you

I miss having
someone who understands

Understands love
Hate children life

Your other son is
growing like a weed

I need to jump on them both to
reach for a hug

They look like you
Talk like you
Laugh like you
Listen like you
Work like you
Drive like you

But they are not you.

I will keep them safe and happy
as they are now. You may be gone
But I will stay as long as I can.

I will see you when the time is right

Keep twinkling the stars for me...

Love hugs and kisses
