Dangers In the Water
Being a couple is like traveling down a network of rivers
And trying to navigate while avoiding all the dangers
If one person is changing their tendencies and adjusting their behavior
While the other one isn’t
It is because the one sees a path to a future of happiness ahead
And understanding the fragile nature of relationships
Seeks to avoid anything that will further compromise the vessel
But if the other one steering
Sees all the jagged rocks, treacherous and threatening above the surface
And makes light of all the damage they will do
Then what they have will sink
