Dangerous Territory


"Dangerous Territory" 

The wash 
slides over naked minds
and feet

the sands of time 
pull you in
unexpected inviting

secrets whispered 
in your ears
too late to turn 

do you take 
the message 
to heart

or burn it 
as flotsam, jetsam, 
a wayward dream

fair weather friends
fast warning
loose charter

dangerous territory
somersaults backwards
out of the drowning

to certainty's sure
so close 
yet so far 

outer edge
of the 
storm

your heart 
a treasure box 
locked for bursting

no warning 
unsigned,

dangerous territory

Thank you “Danger-is-my-middle-name-Schmidt”. People are spending inordinately long periods of time immersed in the web and technology, before they realise it, it has taken away their ability to ‘LIVE’ life as it should be lived, many find themselves losing large chunks of time in their life and they are swallowed up by all manner of addictions. For some it leads to unopened boxes and a set of bars, the standard of which even when opened to Life again, sees them sliding bars of another form. The web, which once was seen as a good thing, becomes a prison for most. In most definitions, the web, is dangerous territory.
