Dandelions
It seems where’er they tend to grow
Dandelions steal the show.
Perky yellow smiling faces
Turning up in lots of places.
Don’t know why folks hate them so,
Why they work to make them go!
Not only do they brighten grass,
They cheer up rooms when placed in glass.
The dandelion has excuses
Because it has some other uses.
People make delicious wine,
Better than grapes from off a vine.
I even know that tasty teas
Are made from dandelion leaves,
So when you see their cheery grace
Let dandelions have their space!
