Dandelion Wine

A symphony of joy raced through the Hospital hallway Mom in a wheelchair holding her first daughter Born after 2 boys! Dad alongside grinning like he struck gold! Driving home! Just minutes from the hospital Dad Braked to a stop! He spotted a wild dandelion patch shining bright! Mom was in hysterics! Joyful as a wee lad, he gathered armfuls Of bright yellow dandelion tops! He was gonna make dandelion wine in Honor of the occasion!

Memories are bittersweet, especially when they replay in the weeds that come up as Dandelions. Our tears nourish the garden and heal the wounds of yesterday.
