Dandelion Dreams
Today,
A dandelion is a soft umbrella,
It’s a wish list,
A shelter from the dark pounding rocks
Of tv news, so.....
Just for today,
I wish for the cleansing tornado
To melt like the whispers of the dandelion,
Only because
We already took that deepest of breaths
This year
2020,
And the dandelion took the cells
And brunt of it all
Into the new wind that’s just around the
Corner,
2021, engulfed in an awareness
Knowing with certainty
As deep as the sea,
That we planted the seeds
For ourselves
As we transform
Lighter than fear
Yet heavier than air.
