Notes About The Poem

Dancing with the Daffodils
I wandered ¦¦¦¦¦¦ as a cloud
¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ o'er vales and hills,
When ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ I saw a crowd,
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ of golden daffodils;
¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦
They stretched in never-ending line
¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦
Ten thousand ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
Tossing their heads ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ such ¦¦¦ jocund company:
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
What wealth the show to me had brought:
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ when on my couch I lie
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ pensive mood,
They flash upon ¦¦¦¦ inward eye
¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ the bliss of solitude;
¦¦¦ then my heart ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ dances with the daffodils.
