Dancing Stars

In a milky way
            supernova stars throw sparks
                     of gold and silver.
  Dance troop casts a cosmic spell;
                   stage lights up by their ardour.

Creative combining of celestial stars w/the theatrical stars, Afzal. Wonderfully expressed tanka. Well done, my friend. Love and peace always.

When I was a kid it seemed there were billions of stars in the sky; anymore I'm lucky if I see 10...how can anyone deny pollution, global warming and environmental damage with open eyes? Love the poem.

Every word of your is so true and I actually wrote a poem about environmental crisis recently by the name 'Horrors of Extinction.' Thanks for the kind visit and comments.

Those dancing stars sure do have a way of keeping us mesmerized and we cannot help but gaze up at them... I really enjoyed the imagery in this lovely poem, Afzal. Very well written!
