Dancing Snows
Dancers clouded in white,
Tiny waist powdered with beads,
Sky's stage in view,
Heaven hosted them.
Angels drummed with lively hands,
Serving chilled sounds,
Dancers danced...slipped,
They fell off the stage.
Angel Gabriel walked back home from Mary's,
Saw white dancers falling merrily,
Catching their cart,
He loosed on high scores.
Falling white dancers,
Foreign dancers,
They weren't maidens,
They were snows.
Dancing snows,
Falling from sky's stage,
Lightly with cold lyrics,
Miming 'Joy to the world'.
Their fall intentional,
During Christmas alone,
Just to see baby Jesus.
