Dancing Light

Twisting and turning, it’s never still
Moving all over, it has its own will
Consuming most all that gets in its way
It never gets tired, both night and day
Dangerous it be to those with out care
Ending their life with a deadly flare

Yet this destroyer has beauty as well
Like a bright orange and yellow spell
It dances wildly like a fairy bright
Giving out welcome warmth and light
It blooms like them most delicate flower
Captivating for both is beauty and power

To stare into its heart for time on end
Leaves your very spirit free to ascend
Its orange glow will keep your body warm
Protecting it from the worst of the storm
Both good friend and terrible enemy it can be
But handled with care, fire can set you free
