Dancing Inside a Whisper

Barely seen
Barely heard
Tiptoeing so not to disturb
The fragile agility
Meant for the peasants
Watching from above
We magically prance
The secret soft-shoe dance
Aimed for culture clashes
To provide lore where
It dares not ever be
Gently caressing the vagaries
Which propel and bounce
Into tiny clouds
Wishing for dreams to arrive
The beat is kept and clean
For movements this dirty and perverse
Need to know their place
In this quiet roomy space
Before they ever arrive.
