Blind dancing poetry contest
Sponsored by: Eve Roper
She dances to music constantly Although she is blind and cannot see Dancing is something she does adore And pledges to dance for evermore. She sees herself inside her minds eye In dancing gear that would make one sigh And sequinned shoes that sparkle in time To every twist and turn, rhythm and rhyme. To her blindness is not a hazard In her heart dancing truly matters Keeps her positive, energised, fit Because of course she loves the music. Upon the dance floor she found romance A man who fell for her at first glance He became her sight, her guiding light Dancing together both day and night. They wed, she glowed in her bridal dress Though blind she saw it all in her head.
